Ra, also known as Amun or Amun-Ra was the creator god of ancient egypt.
Here at Resort Attractions, we strive to help create a memorable and relaxing stay.
Ra was also known as the god of the sun and sky. His right eye (The Eye of Ra) was the sun, and his left eye (The Eye of Horus) was the moon.
Resort Attractions is located in sunny Texas where you can enjoy the sun during the day, and a beautiful sunset over the lake at night.
Ra was believed to travel across the sky in his falcon-headed form on the Mandjet Barque (or boat) through the hours of the day, and then switch to the Mesektet Barque in his ram-headed form to descend into the underworld for the hours of the night. In Short, Ra brought the transition between day and night.
Resort Attractions is close to places where you can rent boats and travel the waters of the lake during the day, or enjoy a night on the Southern Empress paddle boat/restaurant located within walking distance of our location.
Ra/Amun was also the father of the God of Travel, Khonsu, whose name literally means “Traveler”.
You, as a traveler staying at Resort Attractions, will be treated like family. During your stay, if you need something, just ask, we will do our best to provide anything you might be missing.
